Modern Slavery and Human Trafficking Statement

1.  Our Organisation

TAG International is a leading global security and resilience consultancy and a Centre of Excellence for national and community security. We work with governments, multinational organisations, the private sector, and communities to address complex challenges in fragile and high-risk environments.

We operate in over 45 countries worldwide, with approximately 600 personnel deployed internationally and around 25 full-time employees supporting programme delivery and corporate functions.

2.  Our Supply Chains

Our supply chains support programme delivery across multiple jurisdictions and include:

• Local delivery partners and subcontractors
• Professional services and consultancy providers
• Recruitment and staffing services
• Logistics, travel, and accommodation providers
• IT and operational support services

Given the geographic spread of our operations, including work in higher-risk regions, we recognise that certain areas of our supply chain may present an elevated risk of modern slavery and human trafficking.

3.  Our Policies

We are committed to maintaining robust policies and procedures to prevent modern slavery and human trafficking, including:

• Code of Conduct
• Recruitment Policy
• Whistleblowing Policy
• Consultant Handbook

These policies set out expectations for ethical conduct and compliance with applicable laws, including the Modern Slavery Act 2015. They are communicated to employees, consultants, and relevant third parties, and are supported by contractual obligations where appropriate.

4.  Due Diligence Process

We undertake proportionate due diligence to identify and mitigate risks of modern slavery within our operations and supply chains. This includes:

• Risk-based due diligence during supplier onboarding
• Assessment of suppliers operating in higher-risk geographies or sectors
• Contractual provisions requiring compliance with applicable laws, including anti-slavery requirements
• Ongoing monitoring of supplier relationships where appropriate

We continue to enhance our due diligence processes as our operations evolve.

5.  Risk Assessment and Management

Due to the nature of our work, we recognise that risks may arise particularly in:

• Fragile and conflict-affected environments
• Engagement of local subcontractors and partners
• Labour-intensive service sectors such as logistics and facilities

We manage these risks by:

• Applying a risk-based approach to supplier engagement
• Conducting enhanced due diligence in higher-risk contexts
• Promoting awareness of modern slavery risks among staff and partners

6.  Training & Awareness

We require employees to complete training on modern slavery as part of our broader human rights and ethical conduct training programme.

This training is designed to:

• Increase awareness of modern slavery risks
• Support identification of potential indicators
• Reinforce reporting responsibilities

We aim to expand and enhance training resources over time, including targeted training for higher-risk roles.

7.  Reporting and Whistleblowing

We encourage all employees, consultants, and third parties to report any concerns related to modern slavery or unethical conduct.

Our whistleblowing policy provides a confidential mechanism for raising concerns without fear of retaliation. Reports are taken seriously and investigated where appropriate.

8.  Measuring Effectiveness

We are committed to continuously improving our approach to combating modern slavery. During the coming year, we will:

• Develop and implement key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure effectiveness
• Monitor training completion rates
• Review the effectiveness of our whistleblowing mechanisms
• Strengthen supplier due diligence processes

This statement has been approved by the Board of Directors of TAG International and will be reviewed and updated annually.
