Our national government portfolio supports the protection of critical infrastructure against cyber attack, strengthens land and maritime borders, counters terrorism, and fights transnational organised crime. From national strategy to on-the-ground training and mentoring, our in-house military, intelligence, cybersecurity, border enforcement and critical infrastructure protection teams are expert at designing purpose-specific, sustainable and locally affordable solutions for every project context.
We believe security is not ‘provided by’ governments to citizens, but continually negotiated between civil society, government, the private sector and multiple other interest groups unique to each local context. We work across and between these partners to build resilience to conflict, shocks and pressures. From natural disasters, migration patterns, organised crime or climate change, by strengthening the partnerships essential to shared responsibility and inclusive solutions, we help align institutions, communities, families and individuals in active cooperation on the most pressing threats and needs.
Whether through enhancing basic services like water and sanitation, strengthening labour markets for fair employment, fostering local commerce or strengthening police and justice services, our aim is to catalyse a ‘virtuous circle’ of deeper interdependence, improved wellbeing and enhanced mutual trust.
